Work Health and Safety Regulations 2017 Divison 4 Section 43 requires that employers must ensure that an emergency plan is prepared for theworkplace and provides the following
(i) an effective response to an emergency the workplace
(ii) evacuation procedures and
(iii) notifying the emergency services organisation at the earliest opportunity and
(iv) medical treatment and assistance and
(v) effective communication between person authorised by the person conducting the business or undertaking to coordinate the emergency response and all persons at the workplace

(c) and instruction to relevant workers in relation to implementing the emergency procedures.
